maybe a stupid question, but imagine, in a few years time, IF Dara is found to work in solids; will that allow JNJ to ask a renewed patent for application in solid (and thus a longer time as the current patent life in MM?)

I guess you have to make the distinction between market and patent protection

the patent is valid from the point it is granted - and that has nothing to do with the indication. FDA can grant orphan drug status and give you market protection

But solids will be followed with sc dara and patent protection will be around 2033-2035 so they could get on the marked for some years at least

ok, clear. yes, i know Jan said that. At the same time i feel we never got a very good explanation of what really were the issues in those trials; it left me feeling that possibly with other combinations results could be different. But probably pure fiction pure fiction in my head...

E L on the other hand we only have preclinical work that says it might work ! Jan has promissed us data from the Carina study that never came and also data from solid study and we have never seen that either. When things goes wrong people are usually not that keen on presenting

They stopped recruiting prematurely in one of them. We haven't heard of anything in the two others.

No, you are right. Enrollment was stopped in the dara-arm in Checkmate358.

Checkmate142 is not recruiting in general. But the dara-arm has not been specifically changed.

Tak for svar angående mit spørgsmål om dividende og opkøbsprogram. Er enig at investeringer i egen pipeline er det bedste for aktionærerne. På den anden side er tre år med stagnerende/negativt afkast, en negativt vurderet pipeline (min menning) og et dyrt warrants program, ikke det bedste for aktionærerne. Tænkte derfor at Genmab bliver nød til at komme med andent end eventuelle blockbustere engang i fremtiden.
