I guess you have to make the distinction between market and patent protection

the patent is valid from the point it is granted - and that has nothing to do with the indication. FDA can grant orphan drug status and give you market protection

ok, clear. yes, i know Jan said that. At the same time i feel we never got a very good explanation of what really were the issues in those trials; it left me feeling that possibly with other combinations results could be different. But probably pure fiction pure fiction in my head...

E L on the other hand we only have preclinical work that says it might work ! Jan has promissed us data from the Carina study that never came and also data from solid study and we have never seen that either. When things goes wrong people are usually not that keen on presenting
