Although the results were early, Rafael Fonseca, MD, professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz. told MedPage Today he was impressed.
"The daratumumab data were the most exciting information presented at that session. The responses we saw in reduction of M-protein were impressive. I don't think you can get those kinds of reductions just with steroids. There was a dose response to the treatment as well. This drug has a lot of promise."
