Jeg har tidligere spurgt om økonomien i sc vs IV uden at få svar. Hvis sc vælges er medicinprisen utvivlsomt højere,mens hospitalerne får mindre. Derfor kan IV være valget hvis hospitalerne kan vælge frit.

Mindre bivirkninger ved SC bør vel også betyde noget...

Hvis pts kan vælge, vil de vælge sc pga færre IR og bekvemmeligheden. Hvis lægerne kan vælge, vil de vælge sc pga færre IR. Hvis klinikkerne/hospitalerne kan vælge, vil de vælge sc pga større gennemstrømning og fleksibilitet = bedre økonomi. Hvis forsikringsselskaberne kan vælge, vil de vælge sc pga de lavere omkostninger qua den kortere opholdstid.

Also tougher because dara sq is higher volume injection which makes it tougher to do than bortezomib.

well, if you read it back like that, i would not exclude home administration with a nurse coming to your home. I think Bulder has asked it anohter time also, with a more negative answer @Bulder ?

I've just asked my sister (who has been US-nurse all her life), if they have a system with home-nurses in the USA just like we have in DK. Awaiting her answer. I don't think we shall expect self-administration.

In NY/USA 88 % of all patients who went to ICU died. This is a very high percentage - because ? Well, if you get a patient with Covid-19 and he dies you will be paid 19.000,- USD but if you get a patient and give him ICU the you get 39.000 USD. Hospitals in US are supposed to make money, the more the better, so they will always make the choice which gives the most to the hospital.
