@ 08:03 if it is meant as a replacement for Dara, that is logical, as Dara will be at 20%; it wouldnt makes sense for Genmab to offer a replacement at lower royalties

What has been bothering me since yesterday, is that after 2031 both Dara and HexaBody-CD38 will each separately have tiered royalties, the way i read it

In other words, if the HexaBody-CD38 also starts 20% from $3bn, now the first $6bn of the sum of Dara and HexaBody-CD38 will be below 20%.

You could be right about that - but it will only be a few years before Darzalex run out of patent protection and then maybe Janssen will put all effords on Hexa-CD38

Thats probably also why Genmab could negotiate the 20% until 2031

yes, could be, i was thinking similarly. But surely they will keep selling some Dara for years to come, even if off-patent. (I could not exactly place 2031 btw, it is after IV patent and before SC patent?)

But its kind of a luxury with sc Darzalex, Hexa-CD38, BCMA/CD3 and GPCR5D/CD3 - all with different royalties but a hope for some earnings in MM for a very long time

Its more or less impossible to know how the competitive landscape look 10 years from now - we just know that we will still have a good earnings at that time also

yes, if it works, yesterdays deal could be a huge strategic step forward. very exciting.
