it is not good news, but not the end of the world. NICE has been playing the same game with Monotherapy. i would expect some sort of temporary solution with the Cancer Drugs Fund again at some point, until data is more mature (longer) and NICE will have to approve

improvements in progression-free survival with daratumumab plus
bortezomib and dexamethasone are large and that this combination is a
step-change in the treatment of people with multiple myeloma......

Og så videre: The committee
understood from patient and clinical experts, and the Cancer Drugs Fund
clinical lead, that an 18-month improvement in median progression-free
survival was considered a ‘game-changing’ treatment effect in the secondline
treatment of multiple myeloma. It concluded that daratumumab plus
bortezomib and dexamethasone had a statistically significant and clinically
important effect on progression-free survival compared with bortezomib
plus dexamethasone.

yes @Bulder , and it says Janssen will continue to seek a solution with NICE but I have very little hope that will get done before 2 august....
