Den 29/4 2021 udsendte BN en pressemeddelelse vedr. prækliniske data fra ABNCoV2 vaccinen. De kom fra Rahoud University Medical Center i Holland. Og de var særdeles imponerende i forhold til mRNA vaccinerne. Den 18/3 2021 havde Michael Novod / Nordea været ude med den helt vilde forudsigelse, at såfremt BN's covid vaccine blev en succes, kunne kursen på BN's aktier nå 900 kr. Tja, det var dengang! Men der ligger selvfølgelig data klar, som givetvis også skal samkøres.

Langtidsaftaler kan sagtens komme først tror jeg. Den er på trapperne, efter udmeldinger. Med lidt færre resultater, grundet frafald af deltagere, men det var forventet. Fase 3 med foreløbige data (tror jeg) ca april og endelige data ca sept. hvis vi får de foreløbige data.

Den 23/8 2021 meddelte BN, at de igangsatte fase 2 forsøget med covid-vaccinen med 150 sunde mennesker, der havde erhvervet immunitet enten via covid smitte eller gennem vaccinatione med eksisterende vacciner. Her ville BN's vaccine skulle vise effekten af et boost af SARS-CoV-2 antibody i kroppen. Desuden fik 60 mennesker, de rikke tidligere havde været syge af covid 2 injektioner med vaccinen for at vurdere effekten af vaccinens evne til at booste immunforsvaret.

Jeg tror desværre, at vi må vente et par måneder før der kommer store nyheder angående Covid Fase III. De er ikke klar med data før juni tidligst. Medmindre at der kommer en stor ordre på Mpox eller partneraftale angående RSV...

Nordic can also prove durability at 12 months very soon. Third, ABNCoV2 is based on a very stable protein construct that can be stored at refrigerator temperature and handled easily at room temperature – this is very promising for the supply-chain distribution of this vaccine in subtropical and tropical regions.
