About the pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review (pCODR)
Once Health Canada has approved a cancer drug for use in Canada, the
country's provinces and territories must decide if the drug will be eligible for public reimbursement. The CADTH pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review (pCODR) plays an important role in their decision-making processes. -

Myeloma Canada submits that pERC failed to fully comprehend the gravity of this stage of disease in
patients. At this stage, patients have run out of options for treatment and are close to death. In
particular, the statement “there is a low probability that daratumumab would be cost-effective in this
population compared to other treatments” is at best conjectural and at worst insensitive. -

Ja, det kan undre at de kan se så forskelligt på sagerne. Det hele er galt: for dyrt, for lidt effektivitet, for lang infusionstid, ingen bedre livskvalitet. Hvorfor har vi mon ikke hørt noget fra Janssen/Genmab? Kan de stadig være i dialog med de canadiske myndigheder?
