Vestas tilbage i starten af 2000, efter sammenlægn. med Micon , Vestas egen fremstilling af vindmøller var allerede meget økonomisk tunge, mange mannetimer og mange nyvalgte ledere, som ikke var kvalificeret til opgaverne. Den historie kender vi vist stadig alt for godt til idag desværre.
