Kinas største vindparkudvikler, Longyuan, der så sent som i marts bestilte møller fra Vestas til et projekt i Kina, har på sit første projekt uden for Kina, i Canada, valgt møller fra General Electric. GE skal til Longyuan Canada Renewables, som er et datterselskab af China Long Yuan Power Generation, levere knap 100 megawatt til projektet Dufferin Wind i Ontario, fordelt med 31 stk. 1,6 MW møller og 18 stk. 2,75 MW møller. Parken ventes at blive idriftsat i 2014.
