Abecma and ciltacabtagene autoleucel are more similar than different so institutions may end up choosing based on costs -
@Sukkeralf ' Outpatient therapy is doable' is a bit of a surprise to me... but the comments also indicate they don't expect a cure if they think they need maintenance...

@Doublo Hvis du er stor nok så kommer du jo godt fra at lægge både købsordrer og salgsordrer. Så lægger du bare en stor købsordre f.eks. 17 point under kursen og en tilsvarende salgsordre i samme niveau. Det er risikofrit, går det igennem har du købt og solgt til samme kurs = gratis og kursen er sænket 17 kr. Er du short i forvejen, så er det penge i kassen.

While there’s a clear difference between an inpatient and an outpatient, there is a little bit of grey area as well. Occasionally, physicians will assign a patient observation status while they determine whether hospitalization is required. This allows doctors a bit more time to evaluate you and make the most appropriate decision. That said, there are instances where a patient can remain under observation status for more than 24 hours.

fair enough... it's just that in that documentary that i saw a few weeks back from the BBC where they followed 2 patients receiving CAR-T; they got so unbelievably sick it is hard to imagine any form of outpatient. But maybe treatment has improved that much already and side effects are less

I´m also surprices - also about this: Abecma will probably also be used before drugs like “Pomalyst [pomalidomide from Bristol Myers Squibb] and Kyprolis [carfilzomib from Amgen], while a drug like Empliciti [elotuzumab from Bristol Myers Squibb and AbbVie] is a drug that may see increased use – or at least delayed.”

@nohope, der vil altid være meget der foregår i grænselandet omkring lov og moral. Jeg handler aldrig i luk-auk, da jeg ser større risiko for, at blive "rullet", mens jeg nogle gange forsøger i åbn-auk. Der bliver ofte handlet betydelige mænger i luk. Nogle investorer må se en fordel i, at kunne handle større positioner uden, at bliver forstyrret af flash trading og algo'er. Der er måske derfor ofte bliver givet en rabat?
