Og lidt apropos: WM cell lines treated with the ibrutinib + Dara combination, showed significantly more cell death through ADCC, CDC, ADCP and apoptosis relative to single‐agent Dara or ibrutinib. In summary, we are the first to report the in vitro and in vivo anti‐WM activity of Dara. Furthermore, we show a close connection between BCR and CD38 signalling, which can be co‐targeted with ibrutinib + Dara to induce marked WM cell death.(British Journal of Haematology 183(2) · August18

Despite the addition of a new arm, the sc combo trial is shortened down with almost a year. And at the same time the observation time frames are extended with a year. Any ideas how this fits together?

I can only think that recruitment is going much faster as expected? And it would almost imply this 4th arm is already recruiting?

Yes, and the overall status is still active not recruiting. Which probably means that they've already got the pts they need for the new arm.

Så vidt jeg kan se kan det være en ret stor gruppe der evt kan have glæde af det

Så vidt jeg forstår er det en komplikation der opstår hos MDS-pts, der får donor-stamcelletrans. hvor blodtyperne ikke passer sammen.

Der kører flere forsøg med dara i MDS, så en dag bliver dara vel godkendt her. Om der skal en speciel godkendelse til at behandle komplikationen ved jeg ikke.

Ok jeg troede det var generelt ved transplantation (knoglemarv) og AB0 mismatch...
