In conclusion, our findings demonstrate that NK cells, which express high levels of CD38, are reduced by daratumumab treatment in a rapid, reversible, dose- and concentration-dependent manner. This reduction in NK-cell counts was not associated with response to daratumumab or PFS. In addition, reduction of NK cells was not associated with an increase in safety concerns or AEs, including infections.
