Mcjean - tror det er den generelle udfordring for mange bio aktier. Det er for kompliceret for alm. mennesker at forstå de komplekse medicin faglige aspekter. Vi kan så hurtigt være enig om at analytikerne og de store fonde burde kunne gennemskue potentialet. Dog må man jo nok også være bål- pisser og erkende, at aktien har noget gemt værdi, men at kursen altid vil være hvad folk vil betale for den.

Enig! Men tror ikke de store fonde kan eller vil gå markant ind i en aktie i biotek uden at det har materialiseret sig til en vis grad og kan derfor ikke klandres for den lave pris, tror de har retningslinjer der forbyder dem mere end et vist antal. Hvis salget var 5bn$ så ville der nok komme en værdisætning af andre stoffer i pipelinen, men indtil da må vin ok bare acceptere små stigninger indtil salget når et vis punkt.

At a JPM presentation on January 10, Editas CEO Katrine Bosley said the company has "successfully tackled all the translation science questions" that come along with clinical development, including immunogenicity- implying that getting ahead of the issues presented by the manuscript is simply a standard part of translational science. Kulkarni had the same sentiment, saying that "in any therapeutic development, you do immunogenicity testing anyway…I think the concerns are overblown."
