New margin requirement and collateral value is effective from Thursday the 09/03-2017 at 17:00 CET. A bit of selling pressure could indeed arise but I would personally not expect it to be immense. However, Saxo does have disproportionately many Danish clients and they will on average be rather prone to risky investments, so it is difficult to anticipate exactly how much selling pressure it might instil..

Remember that you can't see what is going on by looking at Saxo in the broker statistics. The trades with CFDs are done via partners that will be listed under anonymous brokers... We must although also remember that if clients do have unhedged long CFD positions, then the closing of CFD positions will not lead to actual selling pressure.. It will merely become a transaction between Saxo and the client since Saxo never acquired adequate long coverage to match the clients long positions..

@ Thomas: Begge stoffer er jo udlicencierede til hhv Novartis og Janssen. Så det skulle være dem, der tog initiativet. Jeg tror det er tvivlsomt om Novartis vil bruge flere resourcer på ofa i CLL, hvorimod man godt kunne forestille sig Janssen forsøge sig med dara. Men mon ikke det så først ville blive et monostudie for at tjekke den kliniske effektivitet i CLL?

Var det ikke et oplagt studie for Gen at sponsorere selv? Givet at man potentielt kan få dara ud i en ekstra indikation samt løfte salget af Arzerra. Jeg læser et fase 3 studie koster ~1 mio per patient. Mon ikke risk/reward scenariet ser ganske fornuftigt ud ved at betale 500 mio for sådan et studie? Ville elske at den store kassebeholdning blev brugt på sådan et skud. Men hvad ved jeg

@stockBull: from Saxo Bank who has sent notifications to account holders with positions that will be affected by the changes.. I although know customers with open positions that didn't yet get any email.. So, if you doubt, then contact Saxo Bank..
