Regarding Bongobob's (link) Something to think about: in the ASH questioner where doctors could respond to which combo they would use for 2nd line MM patients the DARA POM DEX combo scored 23% and was the 2nd treatment of choice. First was DARA LEN DEX with 34%

DARA POM DEX isn’t approved yet, which means that we’ll only see the sales generated by this combo in the JnJ quarterly update and not in the Symphony Health monthly update. Seen a substantial number of patients will be treated with this not yet approved combo it could be that the monthly Symphony Health number will be lower than expected and that we’ll only see the true impact with the quarterly JnJ numbers or the monthly data will already be good / fantastic and we’ll get a big surprise

@ GlobalMacro: Good point. And it can be added that at the same questionnaire dara-pom-dex got 69% of the votes after 2nd relapse. Second was dara-Vel-dex with 10%. Clearly a bright future for dara-pom in the relapsed setting.

Not sure I understand GlobalMacro; are you saying you think many receive DaraPomDex already now? Before the approval?

That's indeed what I'm trying to say. Seen some doctors already pointed out that the DaraPomDex combo has their preference. And looking at the post at Myeloma Beacon, off course N=1 but my guess would be that there's already substantial off label sales driven by DaraPomDex

Thanks- i thought that since it is such an expensive product, the vast majority of patients would not be able to receive it without the help from an insurance

Hej..En lidt længere bemærkning herfra. Der er et par solide tegn på at den positive udvikling over de seneste uger kan fortsætte et godt stykke tid endnu. Vi har således et handelsmønster der tydeligt viser hvorledes AB er på vores side i øjeblikket. Det er tydeligt at Genmab bliver købt "opad" under tynd volumen på strategisk favorable tidspunkter i løbet af dagen.

Good point. I just looked it up again and Nordea wrote:
“Interestingly, many would choose a combo with Darzalex and Pomalyst, which is not yet approved for second-line treatment but has an FDA PDUFA date by mid-2017.”
Maybe the pre-requisite for the questionnaire was when each combo was approved.
Let’s see, only time will tell.
