While 30 minutes ago Brazil's Central Bank policy head Mendes spoke in Brasilia saying that the "Euro is less important in Brazil international reserves", and "Brazil seeks reserve currencies with solid fiscal positions", we are now supposed to believe a rumor cited by Reuters that BRICs are setting up for coordinated buying of European peripheral sovereign debt?

Det er et tveægget sværd. Hvis det er nødvendigt, at de hjælper, hvilket det ser ud til, så udgår vi et kollpaps. Hvorfor skulle, tidligere ellers så fattige lande, ellers træde til. Kald det et bidrag til at give stabilitet. Hvis de ikke hjælper, og der er brug for det, så kan vi få et kollaps. Økonomien hænger sammen i hele verdenen, så hvis får en nedtur af historiske dimensioner, så vil det i høj grad påvirke resten af verdenen.

WASHINGTON, April 11 (Xinhua) -- The BRICS countries will continue to see robust economic growth in 2011, said the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Monday. The world output is projected to rise by 4.4 percent this year, while emerging and developing economies will grow at a much higher 6.5 percent, said the IMF in its latest World Economic Outlook report (WEO).
