    Vestas secures 88 MW order for three projects in Sweden

    News release from Vestas Northern and Central Europe
    Hamburg, 29 March 2024

    Vestas has received an order from Eolus for projects Fågelås, Boarp and Dållebo projects in Sweden. The projects consist of seven V162-6.2 MW delivered in power mode 6.4 MW, four V162-6.2 MW and four V150-4.5 MW wind turbines respectively and include supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines.

    Upon completion, Vestas will service the turbines under a long-term Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement designed to ensure optimised performance of the assets.

    Turbine delivery is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025 with commissioning scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025.

      Vestas secures 77 MW order in South Korea

      News release from Vestas Asia Pacific
      Seoul, 29 March 202

      Vestas has secured a 77 MW order with GS E&R for the YD1 Wind Farm in Gyeongsang-do, South Korea. The order includes supply and supervision of installation of 18 of V136-4.2 MW wind turbines delivered in 4.3 MW operating mode.

      "We would like to thank GS E&R for their trust in our proven solutions and we are pleased to partner with them on the YD1 project. We remain committed to contribute to the decarbonisation target of South Korea as well as the whole Asia Pacific region, through our industry-leading wind energy solutions and strong partnership with our customers." said Purvin Patel, Vestas Asia Pacific President.

      Delivery of the turbines will begin in first quarter of 2025, with commissioning scheduled for 2026.

      Vestas has been active in South Korea since the first V47-660 kW installed in 2001. Since then, Vestas has installed more than 600 MW and has more than 500 MW under service. The addition of YD1 project will further bolster our presence and expedite our contributions to the country's climate initiatives.

        Vestas wins 81 MW order in Italy

        News release from Vestas Mediterranean
        Madrid, 29 March 2024

        Italian renewables producer Edison Rinnovabili has placed a 81 MW order for the repowering of the Roio del Sangro, Monteferrante Guado, Monteferrante Casone and Montazzoli wind parks, in Abruzzo, Italy.

        The contract includes the supply and installation of 18 V136-4.5 MW wind turbines, as well as a 10-year operation and maintenance service agreement.

        "I'd like to thank Edison for the trust placed in Vestas for the repowering of their projects. We are really proud to see how the diversity of our portofolio continues to optimise our customer's business cases in Italy", says Vestas General Manager Italy, Francesco Amati.

        Turbine delivery is expected for the second quarter of 2025 whilst commissioning is planed for the last quarter of the same year.

        The order also reinforces Vestas' leadership in the country's wind energy sector, where it has installed over 5.2 GW since 1991.

          Vestas secures 554 MW order for V163-4.5 MW in the USA

          News release from Vestas-American Wind Technology
          Portland, 29 March 2024

          Vestas has received a 554 MW order to power an undisclosed wind project in the USA. The order consists of 123 V163-4.5 MW turbines, Vestas' newest high capacity factor wind turbine.

          The orders include supply, delivery, and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement, designed to ensure optimised performance of the asset.

          Turbine delivery begins in the third quarter of 2026 with commissioning scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.

            De er stadig et pænt stykke fra q1 sidste år.

            Skal man tro på Vestas, så kræver det næsten, at man tror på, at især de europæiske politikere vågner op.

              Hvis der kommer gang i ordrer på Offshore, så er det jo større ordrer end landmøller, og mon ikke de snart kommer.
