Evaxion to Develop Tailored Novel Cancer Vaccines Based upon a New Untapped Source of AI-Discovered Targets
COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Jan. 24, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Evaxion Biotech A/S (NASDAQ: EVAX) ("Evaxion" or the "Company"), a clinical-stage TechBio company specializing in developing AI-Immunology
powered vaccines, announces an expanded commitment to developing tailored cancer vaccines by targeting a novel category of AI-identified tumor antigens, named Endogenous Retroviruses (ERVs).The new treatment opportunity may broaden the applicability of cancer vaccines. Through the new vaccine targets, ERVs, treating patients unresponsive to conventional cancer immunotherapy may become possible. With the elevated focus on this groundbreaking therapeutic concept, Evaxion has initiated preclinical activities with a goal of generating Proof-of-Concept data by the second half of 2024.

Jo, tror på Evaxion. Men +137% i dag har ikke noget med virksomheden at gøre. Ja, de har en spændende pipeline, men de har også kæmpe finansieringsudfordringer. Derfor risiko for udvanding i år, og det vil presse kursen nedad frem mod phase-II resultaterne i Q3. Andet vil være mærkeligt. Tror den falder ned i det der 6-7 dollarleje igen inden alt for længe, og så samler jeg op igen. Det var ligesom det markedet ville give for den inden splittet, og intet har ændret sig efter splittet.
Du skal huske på, at Evaxion gerne vil give kursen noget medvind inden de udsteder nye aktier. Reverse-split, dagens nyheder om ny 'banebrydende' platform (som er i helt indledende fase) og om Mercks 11% stake - det er jo planlagt med håb om at få lidt interesse og volume i aktien igen. Vi står over for et stadigt usikkert aktieår, og det er ikke låntagernes tider... Renterne er stadig høje, og det vil de med høj sandsynlighed fortsat være i et stykke tid. Makro giver modvind, også selvom pipelinen er spændende.
