We focus on growing the value of the company and it should not be a surprise we need capital for our projects. Equity financing is the available option now but with more operational cash flow other options will become available in the future.
The Esbjerg Sorting Plant has a strong stand alone economy and this will take most of the proceeds as per our notice.
Skive is also progressing well. However, we need more time to stabilize the plant to achieve our tough definition of PoC. That said we produced 100MT of plastic last week and this rate has continued in this week. So the plant is working and we work on stability to avoid small trips and stops where we lose heat in the continuous process causing the clock to be reset I respect to PoC.

we have a blackout period of 30 days before our 4Q reporting February 28th so we could raise capital now or in March. Ideally this had been after PoC(as planned) but March will cause holding back development. The use of the proceeds is according to the notice.

vielen Dank für Ihre Anfrage und Ihr weiter bestehendes Interesse an Quantafuel. Im Folgenden erhalten Sie unsere Antworten auf Ihre Fragen.
• Findet im Jahr 2022 die Entscheidung statt, ob BASF zusammen mit Remondis und Quantafuel in Deutschland ein Werk bauen wird?
Eine Entscheidung über den Bau einer Anlage soll im Laufe des Jahres getroffen werden. Geeignete Standorte für eine Pyrolyseanlage im In- oder Ausland werden derzeit noch evaluiert, auch eine Festlegung der Kapazität ist bisher nicht erfolgt. Wir werden mögliche Investitionen gemeinsam mit unseren Partnern öffentlich bekanntgeben.
• Werden zusammen mit Quantafuel auch internationale Werke in Betracht gezogen?
Wir werden mögliche weitere Investitionen auf dem Gebiet des chemischen Recyclings bekanntgeben, sobald entsprechende Entscheidungen getroffen wurden. Bitte haben Sie Verständnis, dass wir diesbezüglich nicht spekulieren möchten.
• Warum hat sich BASF nicht an der aktuellen Kapitalerhöhung bei Quantafuel beteiligt?
Die Technologie von Quantafuel ist ein wichtiger Baustein für das ChemCyclingTM-Projekt von BASF. Wir freuen uns auf die Fortsetzung der Zusammenarbeit mit Quantafuel, um deren Technologie weiterzuentwickeln und die Produktion im Hinblick auf eine Verwendung als Ausgangsstoff in der chemischen Produktion zu optimieren.
Für eine solche Zusammenarbeit ist es nicht erforderlich, unseren Anteil an dem Unternehmen zu erhöhen. Unser Ziel ist es, das von Quantafuel bezogene Pyrolyseöl als Rohstoff in unserer Chemieproduktion einzusetzen und damit einen Beitrag zu einer Kreislaufwirtschaft für Kunststoffe zu leisten und unseren Kunden Hochleistungsprodukte aus chemisch recycelten Kunststoffabfällen in industriellem Maßstab anzubieten.

100 mill ton?
Det var sku' noget af et tal. ved 30 tons last er det ganske mange tankvogne???
Det ville vist lægge vejnettet ned.Er der noget galt i disse tal? Eller er det BASF der svarer om deres samlede plastproduktion?
Der er også dette der kunne være interessant.

Quantafuel is a chemical recycler. In Denmark we see that the lack of plastics recycling capacity provides a significant opportunity to take control of the early value stream of plastics sorting. In other countries with a higher sorting capacity we will partner up with existing sorting companies, like we are doing with Corepla in Italy and Remondis in Germany and Central Europe.
Please also be aware that we are building a sorting plant for plastics, the sorted plast from the plant can be sent to both chemical and mechanical recycling. We are building the PtL plant next to the sorting plant.

Hi, the incident will not change our view on the plant and that the process is working. We are waiting for the plant to cool down so we can get access to inspect the burner chamber (starting tomorrow) to understand the root cause and if this is a failure on this line or a generic problem for all lines. We hope to revert with more information on consequences and time when we have had a chance to inspect the chamber. We set up an analyst/investor briefing tomorrow morning at 8:30 CET. Details about this briefing comes tomorrow at 7 am. Regards Lars
