    Mere godt nyt om BrainChip.

Det kan godt ende meget stort over de næste par år.

Jeg køber flere aktier lige så snart jeg har pengene, satser på en beholdning på imellem 50-100.000 stk hvis jeg kan komme ind i tide.

Mercedes-Benz nye VISION EQXX koncept bil bruger Brain-Chip:

The relentless pursuit of energy efficiency extends right down to the way the car's electronic brains process information. The EQXX features a neuromorphic computer network developed in conjunction with California-based artificial intelligence developer BrainChip.

Neuromorphic computing is a form of information processing in which hardware runs what are known as spiking neural networks. These artificial neural networks mimic natural neural networks, firing only when certain thresholds are reached. Mercedes says the system measurably reduces energy consumption. One small example: The "Hey Mercedes" voice control system in the EQXX is five to ten times more efficient than in current Mercedes production cars.

Mercedes acknowledges that while neuromorphic computing is still in its infancy, it says similar systems will be available in a variety of consumer products within a few years. And when applied at scale throughout an electric vehicle the technology has the potential to significantly reduce the energy needed to run the artificial intelligence technologies that will help control the EVs of the future.

      Just a moment...

Fik du læst vedhæftningen i min åbnings post?

Nvidia, BrainChip, Daimler, Infineon - Not only Tesla can build e-cars!

BrainChip Holdings - Already in strong demand at the start of the year

The start of the year was like a week of jubilation for BrainChip Holdings. The share price rose by a full 37% in the first few trading days. Accompanying news was the appointment of Pia Turcinov as a non-executive director of the Company. Bringing 30 years of industry expertise, she is both an innovator and mentor and will be responsible for further developing and commercializing BrainChip's product portfolios.

BrainChip Holdings is an Australian semiconductor company that manufactures a revolutionary neuromorphic processor called "Akida." The Akida processor can learn on its own while in use, as it improves the overall performance of artificial intelligence systems by reducing latency and power consumption. The new chip with AI capabilities represents a wide range of application areas, including control of autonomous vehicles, IoT devices and drones. In 2021, BrainChip Holdings partnered with Japan's MegaChips to further develop its edge-based artificial intelligence.

BRN shares have now reached a market capitalization of AUD 1.3 billion. The stock is actively traded on Nasdaq and in Germany. The journey should continue upwards; research house Pitt Street sees a further 55% upside potential and issues a 12-month price target of AUD 1.45 in its buy study.

The year 2022 will set the course for the high-tech and automotive industry. High commodity prices and the shortage of chips continue to be a burden. Nvidia, Infineon and Daimler are well-known blue chips. The Australian company BrainChip is launching new technology with blockbuster potential.

Intelligent and powerful chips remain in demand like road salt in the depths of winter. The supply chains are still struggling, and the scarce raw materials are increasing the cost prices. As a result, prices for high-tech materials will continue to skyrocket in the new year. The car manufacturers will probably be hit hardest, as it will not be possible to raise prices at will, especially in Europe, because of foreign competition. Innovation could be an effective means of combating the erosion of margins. We present a few innovative ideas for investors.

Taiwan Semiconductor, BrainChip, JinkoSolar - Markup in the chip industry

The chip crisis was one of the most discussed topics of 2021. The shortage of semiconductors led to production stops, short-time work in the automotive industry, and skyrocketing prices. Even for the current year, manufacturers still do not see any relief on the market. In general, the semiconductor industry is in a strong state of flux. With the development of chips based on artificial intelligence, a new generation is now finding its way to the mass market. The best example is the Australian Company BrainChip, for which the doors to commercialization have been opened wide.

@gastrader Flattery is liked by most and I am no different. (Would not link)

My son who is now out of his gardening period was in a senior position with the Bank of England. He and I argue the question of what is an appropriate present valuation constantly without any agreement. I come at it from a knowledge of Brainchip and he comes at it from a position of having an in depth knowledge of markets and market regulation as he was head hunted from his role with the FCA to the Bank because of his expertise in these areas. He sat me down last week and showed me his spread sheets where he had identified significant algorithmic trading and his view is that the present value cannot be determined and relied upon because Brainchip is the perfect target for manipulators as we have seen today. The manipulation in his opinion is coming from three sources, traders some sophisticated, shorters some sophisticated backed by institutions and institutions accumulating positions for any number of reasons. We are stuck with this for the time being. One thing that is certain German institutional investors are taking positions but who else.

What we both agree on is the medium long term prospects for Brainchip and we are rock solid in our confidence and agreement on this point.

Prior to reaching $1.50 I was of the opinion that it did represent a reasonable valuation based on known facts. Since this valuation of Pitt Street Research though we have had a number of new facts come too light starting with the appointment of the CEO and ending here today with the NASA and VW exposures.

So I would be disingenuous if I did not now have a view that a value higher than $1.50 was reasonable.I have a year end valuation of more than $2.75 which if I had expressed it on last Tuesday it would have made me look like a down ramper. LOL So the question is if $1.50 was a fair value how much should I add to it for the following:

                                1. Appointment of CEO Mr, Sean Hehir,
                                2. MegaChips IP licence,
                                3. The release of the AKD1000 chip & later news it performs better than expected,
                                4. The release of the Module and the Raspberry Pi Module for sale,
                                5. The release of the video showing AKD1000 performing facial and voice recognition etc; in car,
                                6. The further capital call at a time of a very favourable share price securing funding for AKD2000,
                                7. The Mercedes validation of the Akida technology advantage,
                                8. The ISL EAP agreement for a US Airforce Research project,
                                9. The NASA 90nm for space flight reveal by Anil Mankar,
                                10. The EE Times magazine hints at a VW Brainchip relationship on the back of prior statements by the former CEO Mr. DiNardo referencing VW,
                                11. The latest significant patent being granted and announced,
                                12. Rapidly increasing media coverage around the world of a positive nature,
                                13. The release of the latest consumer priced module together with the statement that Brainchip was now fully commercial, and
                                14. All of the statements about explosive sales growth, tip of the iceberg, insatiable demand by KMP at Brainchip, and margin of victory features.

Then as markets add in something for the future we have the promise of commercial deal announcements, 4C information, further patent reveals, AKD2000 coming out of engineering and heading to TSMC, the majority of the EAP's moving to commercial deals predicted by Peter van der Made so lots of expectations to be valued.

Are all these worth another 10 cents, 20 cents, 50 cents or $1.00 on the price of $1.50. I will have to cop out and say I have really no idea but how does the present price of $2.00 sound? To our German investor friends $2.45 sounded about right. To me it does not sound like they have paid over the odds for a piece of the 4th Industrial Revolution particularly given the Mercedes and possible VW stories.

The good thing though is as a long term investor it is all very academic as when I sell the true value of Brainchip will be in play as it will by then be an established company with earnings and all the other stuff that monosyllabic investment advisors understand.

En af svarene fra ovenstående post:

Hi FF, as we know BRN is a tricky one to put a valuation on, and if points 1 to 14 mentioned in your excellent post are anything to go by, BRNs fair value could be significantly north of that $2.75 resistance level.

Most analysts want to look at all the well known pricing metrics before they are able or prepared to ascribe a valuation to a company; but in the case of techs which are sitting on valuable IP the analysts start scratching their heads.

However we have been living in a world where in recent times Moore's Law has made clear that we now live in a world where technology has become the dominant paradigm, goodbye Exxon hello Apple. My point being (and it has been spoken to innumerable times on this forum), analysts in this highly technical world really need to get their heads around what IP is actually worth.

As I alluded to above IP can be analysed on a number of metrics which would confer a reasonable market value, in a market like the US where high tech IP has taken up such a predominant economic position analysts are more prepared to take a position, and so does Mr Market

In Australia this week alone we have had some analysts here in Oz question the validity of BRN's IP, this probably speaks to ignorance on the part of some, and a certain agenda with some others, in the meantime BRN has mostly been getting wonderful media coverage globally. Mr Market is beginning to recognize there is something here.

Points 1 to 14 mentioned by you above are going to play into price action moving forward, but then there are the years of building BRN and the groundbreaking technology, the patents and the certitude which they confer, and the framework of connections with global companies, the household names which will come out from behind the curtain.

At some future point when I do sell some of my holding in BRN, after we have had any number of ups and downs, BRN will be a readily recognizable and successful global company. I want to see that, as I'm sure that there are a number of other people in this community who have a similar view. What a ride, what an opportunity.

I think PVDM and AM probably might want to see that too, what a legacy, founders of General AI, in the meantime I'm still excited about this 3rd Wave which has much more to come.

                                    BrainChip - New entry opportunity!

Forget Silicon Valley and turn your globe upside down. Then you will see where the music is currently playing in the field of artificial intelligence: in the land of kangaroos and koalas. BrainChip, one of the most exciting chip startups in recent history, is based here. With their development of a neuromorphic processor called Akida™, the Australians have certainly made a big splash that is electrifying investors.

The share price development has demonstrated this since the beginning of the year. The share price has almost tripled, particularly with the announcement that the Company has succeeded in obtaining another important patent - now already the eighth - for the protection of its processor design at the US Patent Office. The patent covers so-called Spiking Neural Networks (SNN), which mimic the functioning of the human brain by convolution of input information.

Since potential customers are already lining up (including car manufacturer Daimler and the US military), BrainChip is also having no trouble finding financing partners to further develop its processor. For example, earlier this year, the Company agreed on a capital call deal with its major shareholder LDA Capital, which allows them to call loans at short notice to ensure ongoing financing.

The chipmakers have collaborated with NaNose Medical to develop a portable SARS-CoV-2 virus testing device based on the Akida™ chip. It can detect viral load at a much earlier stage purely from breath and thus at a much lower viral load - more reliably and rapidly than a PCR test. This development alone could become a blockbuster product if commercialized quickly. Further information on the Company, which is currently valued at around AUD 2.8 billion, and its current developments, is expected at the International Investment Forum (IIF), which will open its virtual doors on February 17, 2022. Climate change, mobility change, health technology - none of these megatrends can do without semiconductors. These marvels created from the desert sand are indispensable for every kind of modern technology. If they become scarce, everyone will feel the effects. Car drivers, video gamers and Bitcoin miners have been united in their suffering in recent months: waiting times of several months because chip producers could no longer keep up with production. But one man's sorrow is another man's joy: these stocks will benefit massively from the chip boom.
