    Jeg har nævnt det før, men Herbjørn Hansson fra Nordic American Tankers (NAT) er suverænt den bedste kommunikator, når det gælder udbyttehungrende privatinvestorer inden for shipping.

    Nedenfor er et udsnit af en lige offentliggjort pressemeddelelse. Klart sprog, nemt at forstå, lav lix og korte sætninger. Det er sådan, det skal gøres:

    • Sportraterne er 35.000 - 80.000 USD.

    • NATs udgifter pr. skib er 8.000 USD.

    • NAT har 21 skibe på spot.

    "We would like to inform you that over the last few weeks we have fixed a string of our vessels for voyages extending well into the New Year and the first quarter of 2020. These spot voyages are generating in the range of $35,000 per day to $80,000 per day per ship. This confirms that the tanker market has turned and is now stronger than ever.

    Our operating costs are about $8,000 per day per ship.

    From out of our 23 identical suezmaxes, 21 vessels are in the spot voyage market."

        Spotraten på VLCC er nu oppe på 126.000 USD pr. dag. Aframax, som er mindre end NATs suezmaxer, er på hele 78.000 USD pr. dag.

            Ifølge Deutsche Bank i går er merprisen for skibe med røgrensere (scrubbers) følgende på spotmarkedet:

            VLCC: +17.000 USD/dag
            Suezmax: +11.000 USD/dag
            LR2: +10.000 USD/dag
            MR: +6.000 USD/dag
