Der sker af og til uheld i forbindelse med udvindelse af olie og gas. Denne brand som startede i lørdags er en af de større, som nok skal puste yderligere til ilden i debatten om fracking efter skifergas. Heldigvis ser det i dette øjeblik ud til at niveauet af udslupne kemikalier har stabiliseret sig og miljøet ikke har taget varig skade.
