Financial implications in 2023 of the
travel vaccine portfolio acquisition
from Emergent BioSolutions
The acquired business is expected to add approximately DKK 200 million to revenue and a loss
of approximately DKK 400 million to EBITDA, not
included in the current company financial guidance
for 2023.
The expected loss is due to investments in the
Chikungunya Phase 3 program and inclusion of
necessary one-off integration costs. The financial
impact from the acquired business is pending final

Forsøget mod luftvejssygdommen RSV er dog stærkt afhængig af, at der er nok virussmitte til stede til, at man kan bruge de data, der er indsamlet. Det lader - til selskabets lettelse - indtil videre til at være tilfældet, fortæller Bavarian Nordics finansdirektør Henrik Juuel.
- Det har heldigvis vist sig at være en stærk RSV-sæson, og det kan vi forhåbentlig bekræfte med de data, vi kommer med. Det skal også gøre vores statistiske data mere solide, siger Henrik Juuel.

Den "uvildige" ekspertpanel anbefalede Pfizer med 7 mod 4 stemmer (RSV-vaccine)... det er ikke en overbevisende flertal, især når man så hører, at der var konstateret mulighed for nogle ret grimme bivirkninger
