Forskellen mellem Bavarians vaccine og konkurrenten (ACAM2000): ACAM2000 is administered as a live Vaccinia virus preparation that is inoculated into the skin by pricking the skin surface. JYNNEOSTM is administered as a live virus that is non-replicating. It is administered as two subcutaneous injections four weeks apart. There is no visible “take” and as a result, no risk for spread to other parts of the body or other people. People who receive JYNNEOS TM are not considered vaccinated until 2 weeks after they receive the second dose of the vaccine.

Bmærk, at ACAM2000 medfører en "inoculation lesion" (podningslæsion), hvilket Jynneos ikke gør

Plus, at der ikke er risiko for at virus spredes i ens egen krop eller andre mennesker
efter at være blevet vaccineret -
ja ikke meget argument for den Amerikanske, udover den formentlig er billigere...

Jeg har lige skrevet følgende til Rolf (håber, at han svarer): Kan I fortælle, hvornår I regner med en evt. (haste) godkendelse fra EMA ift. brug af IMVAMUNE i Europa?
Skal denne godkendelse ligge forud for en evt. kontraktindgåelse med EU ifm. fælles opkøb af vaccinedoser?

Så kontrakten om fælles indkøb fra EU har i princippet ingen stopklods fra EMA. Den kan være på vej når som helst...Størrelsen af denne ordre er afgørende. Den skal helst være i millionstørrelse i forhold til
