Have we been given any information yet as to whether genmab is allowed to develop an antibody targeting EGFR and cMET (PRO1286) within the rules of the contract they have with JNJ on amivantamab?

I would guess they can but not sure. In the Duobody agreement the partner pays a smaller amount in the beginning of a program and gets exclusivity for a shorter period of time. My understanding hereafter that others could persue same target combination. Zymeworks for instance had no exclusivity on their BsAb platform

Since Genmab have deeper knowledge on Amivantamab arms there could be other rules applied here.

ok, thanks. I am pondering the fact that they are starting a clinical trial in China. i was even thinking, if China could fall outside of the reach of an agreement, they could give prove of concept there and then sell the product

we could even end up with a similar deal with JNJ as Hexa-CD38 with Dara, but i very much doubt Jan is very keen on that atm...

Tak for svar og lidt som ventet, - at der tilsyneladende aldrig har været seriøse rygter om Genmab som opkøbsmål, - bortset altså tilbage i 2009.

that is not completely true @Journalisten ; there have been enough rumours over the years for Jan to make public statements about it, that he wanted to stay independent and that the best way to do that would be to keep the share price as high as possible. He did that more then once.

and the rumours were not without base. JNJ had a very sizable share position in Genmab already at the time. And looking back, if JNJ had chosen for a take-over instead of selling that position they would have made an amazing deal if you put it against all the royalties they are paying now

Det afhænger nok af, hvordan man definerer seriøse rygter. Der har været mange rygter samt analytikere, der har argumenteret for mulige opkøb, men indtil videre har der ikke været noget konkret bud. Vi ved ikke, hvad der er foregået bag lukkede døre, men det ser ud til, at Jan har afvist flere tilbud, da han gentagne gange har understreget, at Genmab ikke er til salg.

Mig bekendt har ingen i denne chat lanceret rygter om opkøb, men blot præsenteret fornuftige argumenter for, hvorfor dette eller hint selskab måtte kunne have en interesse i Genmab. Det kan undertiden være lidt spekulativt, men det er ikke rygter

Nok ingen tvivl om at hvis JNJ kunne have erhvervet sig GEnmab via et venligt opkøb, så var det nok sket for lang tid siden.

Hvis HexCD38 er fremragende og Janssen tager optionen, så står vi vel i en lignende situation - men hvis Genmab ikke vil overtages, så bliver det meget op ad bakke.

everything is for sale at the right price. and I imagine that right price has gone down a lot over the last few months for many shareholders. and shareholders decide in the end.

@JKY_VH - kl. 11.53 - Du har da helt ret. - Det er da på tide at der bliver skabt et modsvar til den styring der pågår i aktien - dette i form af kursen nu er så langt nede at et bud på Genmab, vil være en meget attraktiv forretning.

Hvis det var åbentlyst at Genmab var værdisat for højt for et år tid siden så ville der vel være kommet shortere i aktien. På et år har Genmab tabt 35% og NBI er steget 20% Patentudløb på dara er kun rykket et år tættere på i den tid. Synes nok det er svært at give en logisk forklaring på at vi pt er i 1550.
