I thought yesterday Pagano would sell the shares from his warrant excercise, since he exercised them so early before expiration date. As he doesn’t seem to have sold them, I am now thinking he did it for tax planning? He seems the kind of guy to think carefully about that.

If you are bullish on the stock, it pays to exercise early in the US if the share price is low i think; he now pays income tax ‘only’ on [+-2000 dkk – the exercise price] (@ +-45%) and if he can sell it higher later, he will pay capital gains tax on that gain from 2000. ( @20%).
