Vouskootia: Kurs lav fordi man ikke betaler +300% i præmie for en overtagelse.

If the company is bankrupt the stockprize is zero

"The stock will trade while a company reorganizes in bankruptcy court, but the shares are likely to move toward zero. So trading in bankruptcy court becomes the province of risk-taking arbitrageurs, not everyday investors."

You can find some info on AMR's bankruptcy here collin: http://www.star-telegram.com/2011/12/06/3576251/high-risk-trading-takes-amrs-stock.html

AMR is pretty much worthless at this point. If you're still holding the stock, cash in right now. Only went up yesterday based on the bond auction (to establish the cds leve). Today the hype was about US Airways potentially taking over AMR, but that would in any case not happen before the existing shareholders are wiped out.
