Speaking of pressure on the ECB (see 11.40 post), the pro-interventionists have God on their side. Or at least one of his representatives - the head of the Vatican bank, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi has thrown his weight behind calls for the central bank to do more to stem the eurozone crisis.
