Warren Buffett, from the United States, just bought the Omaha World Herald. Carlos Slim, from Mexico, upped his New York Times (NYT) holdings. Gina Rinehart, the richest person in the history of Australia, has bought heavily into The Sydney Morning Herald and The Financial Review.
