Nordnet or SaxoBank
-
Hi,
Sorry for posting in English. My Danish is not very good yet. I wanted to ask a recommendation. I am interested in buying ETFs from Vanguard in USDs. Which company do you think is best for that? SaxoBank or NordNet?
From my research so far. Saxobank is not good because they charge $100 inactivity fee every 6 months. I do not plan on actively trading the ETFs. Just want to have my savings in the forms of ETFs to have some profit on them in the future.
Is Nordnet good for this? I did not find anywhere if they have inactivity fee or not. Their transaction fee is also a bit lower than SaxoBank (13 USD vs 15 USD).
Is Nordnet good with currency exchange or they have crazy exchange rates?
Since I am new to Denmark, I'll be happy to know if there are some index funds here similar to vanguard total market index funds in USA. Or any index fund companies?
Thanks,
Saad -
Hi,
I can confirm Nordnet doesn't have inactivity fee, so that's a reason to pick Nordnet.
Nordnet doesn't inform exactly what their exchange rate is, but I have bought a lot of Fingerprint Cards (Which mean I exchange DKK to SEK) stocks recently which I didn't pay so much for - Again, Nordnet doesn't inform exactly, so I'm not quite sure how much I have paid.
I don't know an answer to the question about vanguard. -
