Den amerikanske kaffekæde Starbucks ramte over analytikernes forventninger i det skæve tredje kvartal, når der måles på indtjeningen per aktie.Den justerede indtjening landede på 1 dollar lige ud mod ventet 0,95 dollar.
Men efter selskabets aktie steg ganske kort i eftermarkedet, gik der ikke lang tid, før den skiftede plusset ud med et fald på 1,2 pct. og fortsatte dermed faldet fra i tirsdagen

Starbucks skuffer nemlig på det sammenlignelige salg, der steg 10 pct. Men analytikerne havde sat næsen op efter 11,1 pct. ifølge estimater indsamlet af Bloomberg News.
Det samlede omsætning var på 9,2 mia. dollar mod ventet 9,28 mia. dollar.
På hjemmemarkedet i USA steg det sammenlignelige salg 7 pct., men her var ventet 7,7 pct.

AMD, den amerikanske chipproducent Advanced Micro Devices, kom tirsdag aften med en prognose for tredje kvartal, der bragte de store smile frem hos investorerne.Aktien blev sendt op med 2,7 pct. i eftermarkedet efter et plus på 2,8 pct. i den almindelige handel tirsdag.

AMD regner nemlig med et salg i perioden på 5,4-6,0 mia. dollar mod forventningerne på Wall Street om indtægter på 5,84 mia. dollar ifølge Bloomberg News.
Bruttomarginen ventes at lande omkring 51 pct. mod analytikernes bud på 51,2 pct.

Forsikringskoncernen American International Group (AIG) slog analytikernes forventninger i andet kvartal.Den justerede indtjening per aktie lød på 1,75 dollar mod ventet 1,60 dollar. I samme periode sidste år var den justerede indtjening per aktie 1,39 dollar.
Og forsikringskoncernens combined ratio landede på 90,0 pct. mod ventet 90,6 pct.
