Dapiglutide was assessed to be safe and well tolerated following 4 weeks of dosing in humans.
Effects on several biomarkers suggest that clinically relevant exposures of dapiglutide were achieved in the study.
Zealand will be exploring several potential indications in gastrointestinal and metabolic diseases.

Er man biotekinvestor, så er der ikke andet at gøre end bevare det langsigtede fokus. Næsten alt biotek har været under voldsomt pres i år og halter mile vidt efter valueaktier. Men i Zealand Pharmas tilfælde er jeg af den overbevisning at vi vil blive godt belønnet for tålmodigheden i 2022 og 2223. Her er mange spændende ting på vej. Ikke mindst fase 3 data for Glepaglutide som ved positivt udfald kan viser sig at blive en game changer for Selskabet.

Det der i særdeleshed bør bemærkes i den forbindelser er velsagtens, at Glepaglutide viser sig op til 10 gange mere potent end Gattex, og samtidigt henvender Glepaglutide sig til en 20-30 gange større patientpopulation end Gattex tilsvarende

Jep - det store spørgsmål er så, om andre aktører kommer på banen - hvis ikke, så har Zealand mere eller mindre banen for sig selv = en indtjening i USD-mia.-klassen
