we are trading exactly at the down-trend line that started in early december. The last touch was Jul24, which led to a strong down movement. IF we can break above it this week, we should be able to move to the next resistance area at 2930 relatively quickly i would think.

Can't post a chart right now, maybe someone else can try; if you draw the uptrend line from June22 you will see that we actually made a small break below that trend line and came back above it. Would be nice to get away from it. It is really a wedge we would be breaking out of.

The confusing thing is that all indicators say there will be a recession, which it normally would if the Fed raises interest rates that much. The government then pumps money into the economy, which of course has the opposite effect. So nobody really knows what will happen because you haven't seen it before
