Til jer i Danmark som ikke har fulgt med i nattens nyheder, så er et ledende medlem af Irans revolutionære garde blevet dræbt i Bagdad sammen med lederen af den milits som har udfordret USA i den seneste tid i Iraq. Det skal nok give lidt bølgegang de næste par dage, men næppe noget som betyder noget på bare halvlang sigt. Hverken USA eller Iran er interesseret i krig.

Good Morning from #Germany where financial assets of Germans have hit fresh record. Bank deposits, savings, shares, mutual funds, bonds, insurance benefits rose 7.1% to €6.6tn in 2019. Main reason is increased savings activity due to low interest rates but also stock mkt gains. -

Der skal nok dø nogle amerikanere som gengæld, men jeg tror ikke Iran igen vil forsøge at indtage ambassaden i Bagdad. De ved at amerikanerne vil slagte deres "demonstranter". Faktisk kan angrebet vise sig deeskalerende i og med at Iran nu får set at USA også kan og vil slå tilbage.
