Er der en der kan oversætte til dansk? Sidste gang jeg hørte om PD-1/PD-L1 var da vi susede nedad i forbindelse med de solide tumorer forsøg der fejlede.

Not in Danish, but what i understand is that, In their findings they suggest there is evidence to suggest that strategies targeting both CD38 and PD‐L1/PD‐1 could work , in MM.

Note that there are already ongoing trials like that, eg Dara and Nivolumab, so i don’t immediately see the news value in that

they suggest new mechanisms of action of Dara;
a) Depletion of plasmacytoid dendritic cells; this should slow / inhibit tumour growth

b) prevention of PD‐L1 expression upregulation on immune cells; If i understand correctly, upregulation of PD-L1 may allow cancers to evade the host immune system. So they think Dara can prevent that from happening

Ok. So we are back to Dara in solids. Let's hope it goes better than the last time

Plimsoller..We must remember that the failed attempt in solid was a combination. Dara may work as intended, but the other drugs can have powerful side effects.
