we are not there yet @Tandfeen-2 , still not 1st line and still via CDF, so far from ideal. But it is another step that will increase sales.

"NICE however said that the overall-survival data was ‘immature’ because more than half of the patients treated with the daratumumab combination were alive after nearly four years of follow up." this sounds like, if patients would have died quicker, it would have been easier to approve… crazy...

yes, i guess you are correct, that is what they base their cost effectiveness study on, but it feels weird to say that it is difficult to measure because they live too long... Anyway, another small step..

What does this mean? They recommend the treatment, but will not reimburse it?

NHS will not directly fund it, it will be reimbursed out of the Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF), just like currently is the case with mono
