and that is how it should be… i mean, it wrote it as a joke offcourse, but I had many sleepless nights in the past. But I have significantly scaled back on overnight risk over the last few years on my daytrading, sleeping much better

@nohope NL has a wealth tax, which really is a proxy for taxing income on your investements. Instead of taxing your real income/return they make an assumption that everyone makes x% return on his investments (it is in layers up to 5.4%) and then you have to pay a flat tax rate of 30% on that.

So on Jan 1 of each year, I already know how much tax i need to pay on my assets, irrespective of my actual returns that year.

Ved vi nok til at kunne lave en sådan opgørelse mht USD ? Der kunne være en tidligere indgået aftale om valutakurssikring som forhindrede at der var en gevinst foreløbig. Hvad ligger deres kassebeholdninger i - USD eller andet f.eks. DKK. ?
