Det er cd3-armen i et bispecifikt antistof. Denne arm binder til et antigen på overfladen af T-cellerne. Herved opstår en risiko for "over-aktivering" af T-cellerne - CRS-syndrom. Eller cytokin storm. Det samme problem som ses ved car-t. Ved at "dæmpe" cd3-armen mindsker man risikoen for denne overaktivering.
