Car-t bliver nok den største trussel for topsalgsestimatet for Darzalex. Specielt hvis fokus på prisstrukturer kommer yderligere til debat. 1 car-t behandling er jo meget billigere end 5 års dara/rev/dex kur

Bibob-sc versionen bliver neppe billigere end iv. Men hvis den gør, så rammer det jo også topsalgsestimatet. Men den dyreste komponent i dara/rev/dex er jo Revlimid. Så det er et problem som Janssen ikke kontrollerer

Celgene (der ejer Revlimid) er Partner med Bluebird på MM car-t. De vil kæmpe med næb og klør for car-t, så de har noget klar når Revlimid går af patent i 2024.

perhaps some of the 'new' checkpoint blockers could turn out to be active in the same
therapeutic area, but we really view dara as a backbone treatment ie a drug that can be an ideal combination partner for other drugs...
as it relates to CAR-T, this is more of a procedure than a traditional medicine.
Potentially more suited to end stage patients in limited numbers of clinical centres. -
Why would Celgene want to spend billions on a collaboration with Bluebird? Why would Novartis do the same with Juno? And why would Gilead buy Kite for 11.9 billion USD? One of them might be stupid, but not all 3!
