@GlobalMacro, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Totally agree with your line of thought re how investors and analysts need to see gradual proof of the pudding before upping targets and expectations.

I also agree that it is unlikely that Genmab remain independent for ten years more - or five for that matter.

However, before getting lost in P/E calculations etc., we should also consider what the strategy of the company is, and how this will change the operations and earings multiples.

Genmab will - if strategy becomes action and reality - become a completely different animal.

This will include a lot more investment - and risk - in new R&D. Also, taking greater responsibility for approvals, market launch and global sales of new products will lead to much higher leverage and roll-out risks.

It is quite difficult to factor all this in to the current stock price and current analyst targets. This is why targets are quite modest, as most are concerned with the next 4-6 years in their forecasts.

@Sibelius, Good builds, agree with most of your views. Regarding P/E, Genmab's strategy - different animal, I also believe that will happen. In my analysis I was only accounting for Dara in MM, not outside MM, Arzerra in MS and other molecules etc. Therefore, yes Genmab will take much more risk in the future, I believe against that will also be much more earnings, Based on certain data and other sources I believe Dara in solid tumors will be a big succes and therefore

drive a lot of extra earnings fast.

And remember, we don't have to wait years and years for Dara in solid tumors. When the data is as good as JvdW believes, phase 2 studies can be approved and you don't have to wait for the big phase 3 studies
