Genmab — Januar 2017

All right, thanks GeorgeBest and Mcjean. By the way it’s indeed probably Symphony health instead of IMS. Either way we’re talking about the same number.

I just did the check:
There are 3 months where the 2nd last Wednesday is before the 20th of that month:
February 2016: data came in on the last Wednesday of the month (25-2),
May 2016: data came in on the last Wednesday of the month (25-5)
2nd last Wednesday was the 18th for February 2016 as well as May 2016. -
However in October 2016 the data did came in on the 2nd last Wednesday of the month (19-10).
So either it changed during the year or the data will not be published before the 19th.
Based on these findings I would say we can’t conclude anything and just have to wait

Either way, the number will surely be positive and the future looks very bright. I believe Dara is going parabolic in 2017, hitting the $2 billion mark at the end of the year.
-
wow 2 billion. That is aggressive

I try not to speculate too much, there’s no art in throwing numbers out in the open. However in this case, Dara is significantly undervalued and the rapid uptake driven by Dara's superiority and the excellent execution by the teams at J&J make me believe that Dare will go much faster than the average analyst projection. Also the average MM peak sales is still significantly undervalued, I believe Dara will become much much bigger in MM and we haven’t started to take into account the IO potential.

Genmab, its stakeholders and all (future) patients couldn’t have hoped for a more capable management team. Furthermore the projections of JvdW and David Eatwell are as always conservative. Which is fine, because the market likes positive surprises and we’re going to get a ton of them in the coming months and years (if not taken over).
