Conclusion: In our patient with post-HSCT AIHA who was refractory to multiple therapies, daratumumab dramatically decreased her pRBC transfusion requirement; laboratory parameters indicate this was a result of decreased active hemolysis. Further study is warranted to assess whether CD38 targeting is a safe and effective treatment for patients with refractory post-HSCT AIHA". -

Vedr. AIHA: 2% af AML-patienter får denne komplikation efter 1. transplantation, og 10% efter 2. transplantation. Er der nogen der har tal på hvor mange AML-patienter der får knoglemarvstransplantation. På kræftens bekæmpelse skriver de "et stigende antal". Og tak for artiklen George.

Yesterdays symposium discussed the various treatment options and therapeutic decisions faced by clinicians treating myeloma. It was clear even the experts didn’t always agree on what best practice is, that it is different for each patient and that clinical judgement is needed for each decision.
