nu er det godt nok cll - men arzerra og ritux møder ikke rigtig hinanden andre steder i åben kamp. Det kunne være en kamp om den nye guldstandard....

med al den ballade der var om prissætningen på arzerra tilbage i 2009 skal vi nok ikke undervurdere prisfaktoren, når der skal vælges behandlingsregimer

Ja, Roche var og er naturligvis ude på at bevise, at Gazyva er bedre end Ritux, så det har de givetvis tilrettelagt deres studie efter. Samtidig får de så den utilsigtede bivirkning, at Arzerra fremstår som langt bedre end Ritux. Så for de læger, der foretrækker Ritux, så fremstår Arzerra jo som et ganske fornuftigt alternativ... I øvrigt er Novod jo meget forsigtig omkring Arzerra andel af markedet. han estimerer kun få procent.

Dette ser stærkt ud (ofatumumab i ALL): With a median follow up of 8 months (1-23), 18 pts are alive and in CR; 1 pt has undergone an allogeneic stem cell transplant after cycle 3 by reason of a highly complex karyotype at diagnosis. The 1-year CRD and overall survival rates were 100% and 95% respectively.

Og denne:Pts with CLL who have early stage disease (Rai 0-II) but have high-risk prognostic markers such as deletion 17p or deletion 11q have an increased risk of disease progression. Currently, these pts are offered watch-and-wait approach. The objective of this Phase II study is to evaluate the efficacy of ofatumumab in treating these pts with the goal to delay time to first chemoimmunotherapy treatment

Mere endnu: Conclusions The O-dex regimen shows relatively high ORR and CR, with promising findings for PFS and OS (including pts. harboring p53 defects), as compared to published data on rituximab plus dexamethasone regimen or ofatumumab in monotherapy.
