The two companies are advancing their Space Economy partnership. GomSpace North America has announced the next milestone of a long-term partnership with SAIC, the $7 billion Federal contractor headquartered in Reston, Virginia. The companies announced a strategic partnership in 2023, and now SAIC has purchased a satellite kit from GomSpace which SAIC will integrate into a specialized satellite at their space development center. GomSpace engineers and scientists will work with SAIC personnel. GomSpace has produced robust and reliable satellites and components for over 15 years.

"This is the next critical step in creating satellites in the U.S. with SAIC, our system integrator and AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Testing) partner," said Frank Tobin, President and CEO of GomSpace North America. "Together, we are rapidly laying the foundation for the mass production of constellations of satellites in the near future."

GomSpace components are now being delivered to SAIC, and integration is scheduled to begin in early Q2 of this calendar year.
