Highlights

H1

Revenue was DKK 25.2m, a -3% YoY decrease.
EBITDA was DKK 4.1m, a 33% YoY increase.
EBT was DKK 0.9m, a 133% YoY increase.
Unique paying users was 88,757, a 2% YoY increase.
Total transactions were 270,179, a 17% YoY decrease.
Total installs were 4.7m, a 45% YoY increase.

Q2

Revenue was DKK 13.9m, an 11% YoY increase.
EBITDA was DKK 2.2m, a 28% YoY increase.
EBT was DKK 0.4m, a 132% YoY increase.
Unique paying users was 52,356, a 15% YoY increase.
Total transactions were 151,770, a 3% YoY increase.
Total installs were 2.5m, a 62% YoY increase.

Guidance

Our 2023 guidance is unchanged:

Group Revenue: DKK 46 - 55m
EBITDA: DKK 4.5 - 10m
EBT: DKK -0.5 - +4.5m

CEO comment

At our investor day, we presented the plan for the transport series. It is our ambition to drive the revenue of the series up to DKK 100m yearly in the future. The rationale is that Airline Manager - which we are still improving - did DKK 23.5m last year, and we think that Shipping Manager, Train Manager and Truck Manager have the same potential.

H1 2023 was spent scaling Shipping Manager which ended June with a monthly revenue of DKK 1.1m and the half year with a revenue of DKK 3.6m, already showing strong numbers for a game that still lacks a finishing touch. We also released Train Manager end of June 2023, the third game in the series. The game has been the most successful release in Trophy Games history with more than 300.000 installs. In July 2023, Train Manager generated DKK 487k in revenue. These two events combined with the continuous strength of Airline Manager, put us on a good track for the transport series.

Looking forward H2 will be spent scaling Train and Shipping Manager, as well as initiating development on Truck and Energy Manager. We are also still working on improving Idle Necromancer and Transit King Tycoon - smaller acquisitions we made this year.
