and we were told the Profound asset, GEN1286, was 'pre-clinically far outperforming amivantamab and other EGFR CMET' ... so that is also why i think they know a lot about the capabilities of such a bispecific. Not sure if they recruit HNSCC though (even thought that would be a valid target given EGFR) so cant be certain they have seen 'in house' data...

Fandt det lidt mærkeligt at en analytiker skulle tage fejl, så det kiggede jeg lige efer i sømmene. Hans udsagn er KORREKT. HPV-positive HNSCC patients tend to have a better overall prognosis — they respond more favorably to immunotherapy and chemoradiation, and they often live longer overall.
However, their tumors are less driven by EGFR signaling, and EGFR expression is typically lower than in HPV-negative tumors.
So when it comes to EGFR-targeted therapies (like cetuximab or petosemtamab):

You wouldn’t expect them to respond better than HPV-negative patients.
In fact, they usually respond worse or similarly, because the target (EGFR) is less relevant in HPV-positive disease.
